For every dollar you give to Cornerstone, the State Historical Society will match it with $3 more, up to a total of $320,000. This will fund the first phase of construction, which includes the restoration of the Montezuma Valley National Bank's exterior and rehab of the interior to make way for KSJD Studios and the Story Vault where area residents can record and store oral histories.
As of February, 2010 we have raised more than $500,000 from individual and business donors, and from grants. Our current goal is to raise an additional $30,000 by April 30,2010. This will allow us to break ground in early summer on the first phase of constructions.
